I started my career at 14... as a self taught graphic designer. It wasn't long before I'd find myself in a Jr. designer role designing flyers, album covers and rack cards for an up and coming record company. By 21 I had rose to Sr. Designer. I loved that job. I got to travel and experience what a Sr. creative role in a major brand looked like.
Fast Forward at 22 I wanted to explore the world of corporate advertising and design. I decided to shift gears and enter into a new field of design. With the guidance of Ms. Mary Denson (Fmr Treasure, NNPA). I took a position as Managing Editor with the National News Paper Publishing Association (BlackpressUSA.com), a foundation funded in Washingtoon, DC that advised 300+ minority newspapers in the United states.
After Being sought out by some of Americas largest publishers I decided to take a position with the nation's leader of daily news and media, Gannett. As A digital advertising manager I was tasked with building a digital advertising department from scratch for a brand with over 800 owned and operated facilities and publications.
